BMEM 09: Tolkien Tarot Deck

Feeling unsettled about life, I went to consult the Tarot. For someone who doesn't believe in divination, I spend a lot of time playing on this site. Be sure not to include reversals, or you will get a wildy inauspicious reading.
Anyway, the connection to BMEM is that I found pictures of a kinda neat Lord of the Rings Tarot deck.

*nods* I have a half belief in divination, but [profile] tanaquilotr's remarks about being an aid to focusing one's thoughts rings true for me. I too hope that things resolve successfully for you.

The tarot deck is interesting, if only because I've been idly thinking about making my own Lord of the Rings deck (using images based on movie visuals probably) for some time, but as yet haven't really resolved who is who... for instance, I think the four hobbits should be the Pages of each suit, but then... should Bilbo be The Fool? Or should Frodo? One day I must get around to writing down my thoughts on who's right for what, because I wanted them to have relevance as well as representation.

I hadn't gone beyond the court cards and some of the major arcana so seeing a few of the number cards was interesting.

Thanks, I think things will work out in the end, but right now, the future seems very uncertain to me. And I don't thrive on uncertainty. :P
Hmm, maybe Radagast should be the fool? Though he isn't a major player in the story.
The artwork on some of the different tarot decks is marvelous. I hope you post pictures of yours when it is completed.
