Do you have any phrases that are peculiar to your own household or group of friends? Two examples from my household--

King-Alfred, verb, to overcook food due to inattention. Derived from the folktale of King Alfred and the burnt oatcakes.
As in, "I just King Alfreded these rolls." Also used as a noun, as in "I just did a King Alfred on these rolls. Would you please turn off the smoke alarm?"

Roof-pizza, verb, to drop food so that the force of the fall makes it stick to the top of its container. Derived from the tendency of pizza to stick to the lid of the box when it is dropped on the floor.
As in, "Michael, you just roof-pizzaed our takeout."

Any takers?
