Radagast scrawled his reply. Yes, he would be there.
So much to do before that day. The house would go to the Beornings. Though first he needed to tell the bees. They got so upset by any change in routine. And the deer must find another orchard to graze. And what about the injured rabbit? She might not be healed by then.
On the day of the first autumn moon, Radagast stroked the rabbit’s soft ears. “How could I leave you, small friend? That ship has long since sailed.”
