Writing Style Meme

Borrowed from all over.

I write like
Rudyard Kipling

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I also came up with H.P. Lovecraft--and James Joyce?

I came up with Dan Brown for The Falcon and the Star, which was rather disappointing (Brown may be a best-selling writer, but I use The Da Vinci Code as a sleep aid), and Charles Dickens for Gamesmanship; and Kurt Vonnegut for The Eagle's Gift.

I'd have been thrilled to be compared to Rudyard Kipling!!! I can't see the comparison to James Joyce in your writing; since I've never succeeded in reading Joyce and I find your work quite readable.

It's a rather addictive meme!

Heh, I've tried to avoid reading anything by Dan Brown, but I love Dickens and Vonnegut so I would take that comparison as a compliment.
Yes, I was happy when I scored Kipling. However, I read Joyce under duress as an undergrad and have never had the least desire to revisit his works. Good to hear that I don't write like him, lol...

I got James Joyce too amongst others. I fear I find him quite unreadable!

I had to read him for a grade, but it was a painful experience. My only course requirement that was equally awful involved reading Puritan sermons. :D
