Too Simple for Adults

One of the students brought her young daughter to t'ai chi class tonight. The little girl picked up the movements with amazing ease.
T'ai chi: it's too simple for adults.

I used to walk to work through a large park, and I'd always see a guy practising tai chi at one spot. One day, the guy was there with a girl of four or five...and she was GOOD. And of course it looked unbelievably cute. :)

In martial arts, you strive to reach the state of mu shin or "no mind" where you are not conscious of yourself as being separate from your actions. We are all like that as children, but later, most of us become awkward and self-aware.
