LOTR: Hobbit House In Pennsylvania

This house was built to hold someone's collection of Tolkien tchotchkes. I want to live there.

When Lord Branwyn and I went out to dinner this evening, we were given a restaurant pager that sounded just like the Horn of Gondor from the movie (or the "car horn of Gondor" as my friend Jean called it). Blat, blat, blat, blat. It was a struggle not to break out laughing.

Hee! That horn always reminded me of a cross-channel ferry. I've been told it may actually be quite authentic, but that may be one instance where I would be tempted to go for something my audience would think was authentic rather than one which would remind them of large forms of modern transport...

Lol at the cross-channel ferry horn! Thank goodness that Howard Shore used a French horn for Boromir instead of the car horn of Gondor.
