Memories of the Mellotron
Mar. 28th, 2009 10:27 pmRemember the Mellotron? It was an early form of electronic keyboard favored by progressive rock musicians and the producers of low-budget science fiction movies. Strips of magnetic tape were recorded with the sounds of various instruments or voices.
"Woo-WOO, Woo-WOO, Woo-WOOOOOO!"
Supposedly, there are now only six in existence. :P
