In the bowels of Fanfiction.net lurks the LOTR crossover, a monster bred by the foul craft of merciless fangirls. Only the strong of stomach should read Branwyn's LOTR Crossover List

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (rated R, features Saruman)
Farenheit 451 (please God, tell me that this is not a crossover with the book)
Harry Potter (HP/LOTR fic rules the crossover world)
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
House on Haunted Hill
Labrynth (David Bowie's hott Goblin King versus Legolas)
Matrix
Moulin Rouge
Napoleon Dynamite (Hee!)
POTC
Princess Bride
Redwall
Smallville
Star Trek: TNG (Jean Luc and Elrond--not a bad idea)

I've seen a few LOTR/ST: TNG crossovers; het and slash (pairing Elrond with Picard). I remember one story that had the Elves, possibly the Noldor though it might have been the Moriquendi, eventually becoming Vulcans, or ending up on Mintaka 3 or something.

I've also looked at at least one Buffy/LOTR crossover. I have vague, and vaguely troubling, memories of one tale where Buffy and Aragorn fall in love over a period of 50 years or so (Buffy midwives Boromir, Valar help us, while serving in Gondor as Thorongil's bodyguard), and another story where Buffy and Legolas fall in love.

I really wish I'd done a better job of saving my "Top 10 Things That Spike Would Say or Do in Middle-earth" list....

I wouldn't mind seeing a Star Trek Original Series/LOTR crossover, just to see Dr. McCoy in the Houses of Healing offering some choice comments on Aragorn's methods (and maybe some help), and Spock talking to Denethor (or Gandalf, or encountering Tom Bombadil) and of course Captain Kirk at Helm's Deep or riding with the Rohirrim (of course if he did that, Eowyn would have fallen for him instead of Faramir, it's inevitable when Kirk meets eligible and prominent women).

I can imagine Spock, that one eyebrow raised halfway up his forehead, listening to Bombadil ramble on.
