lady_branwynI stumbled across an interesting essay about Tolkien's portrayal of evil--Tolkien as a Meanie. The author, suburbanbanshee, doesn't have a biography posted, but she appears to be a translator by profession or avocation and has a wide range of interests (including fandom).
