Does anyone know what happened to the travelling exhibit of LOTR movie props and costumes? According to the website, the exhibit is closed. If so, then where are all the goodies being stored? I recall that the exhibitors wanted to create a permanent museum, but that plan seems to have fallen through.

lord_branwyn and I saw the exhibit in Boston back in 2004. It was well worth the trip.

I wonder where everything goes when an exhibition is dismantled? I hope it's all safely in storage somewhere.

I saw the exhibition in London in 2004. Was it really that long ago?

I had heard, too, that there would be a museum; I'm sorry to hear it might not have worked out. I certainly hope that those items are being stored somewhere safe and sound, they were amazing!

I saw the exhibit in Boston and later in Indianapolis. I stayed a whole week when it was in Indianapolis and went several times, trying to soak up as much gazing at Boromir in his boat as possible.
